Our MSK Ultrasound Mentorship Programme is a hands-on, clinically focused training experience designed for clinicians who want to confidently integrate ultrasound into their practice.
Delivered within our busy MSK clinic environment, this programme provides direct exposure to real patient cases, with expert supervision and structured feedback to accelerate your learning.
Programme Overview
This mentorship includes 8 contact teaching days, delivered over a flexible period, allowing you to build your scanning skills alongside your clinical work.
Each session is centred around practical scanning, clinical reasoning, and developing the competence required for independent practice.
Participants will also build a comprehensive ultrasound portfolio, supported by expert feedback and correction of technique, image acquisition, and reporting.
Real Patient Experience
Work directly with patients in a clinical setting, developing the ability to identify pathology and integrate findings into your management.
Expert Supervision
Receive one-to-one guidance from experienced MSK clinicians with advanced ultrasound expertise.
Portfolio Development
All scans contribute toward your ultrasound logbook/portfolio, with structured feedback to ensure quality and progression.
Technique Correction & Image Optimisation

Probe handling and ergonomics

Limited places ensure a high tutor-to-student ratio, maximising hands-on scanning time.
High-Spec Equipment
Training delivered using premium ultrasound systems. Participants may also bring their own machines for familiarity.
